How your first 100 days plan works
The plan on your home page: four phases from set-up to growing, ticked from your shop's own data. Hide it or bring it back whenever you like.

Steps
These are the same steps you see beside the settings in your shop's back office.
- Open Home in your shop. The card called Your first 100 days shows which day you are on and which of four phases you are in: Set up and first sale, Get found, Repeat customers and Grow. The days are a guide. Nothing is ever overdue, and you can do any task whenever it suits you.
- Under Next are the three things to do now. Each has one line on why it matters, a button that opens the right page, and How do I…, which opens the guide for that job.
- Most tasks tick themselves when the thing really happens in your shop, such as your first product with a photo, your first paid sale or a newsletter sent. A few can't be seen from your data, like putting your shop link in your social bios. You tick those yourself, and they are marked You ticked this with the date.
- The plan fits what you sell and how. Answer the questions in Settings › Shop type and it adds the right tasks, such as size charts for clothes, batches for food, or the POS for markets and stalls. The Legal reminders block lists rules for your trade, each with a link to official guidance or a GOV.UK search.
- Legal reminders are nudges to check, not legal advice. Where we are not sure a rule applies to you, the reminder says Check whether and sends you to an official government or Trading Standards page to read it yourself.
- The numbers on the card are your own: your orders, sales and sign-ups since day 1. There are no averages, no comparisons with other shops and no promises about when your first sale will come.
- Press Not now on a task to put it off for 30 days. It comes back by itself.
- To hide the plan, press Hide on the card or open Settings › Your first 100 days. To bring it back, open the same page and press Restore the plan. Nothing is lost. Who sees the plan is a permission called See the first 100 days plan, which you can change in Settings › Staff and permissions.
Good to know
The plan is there to help, not to nag. Hide it if you don't want it.
