What to open
Each button opens the right page on the other company's site in a new tab, so you can keep these steps open beside it.
Steps
These are the same steps you see beside the settings in your shop's back office.
- Only needed if you pay for Google Ads. Press Open Google Ads: conversions and sign in.
- Press + Create conversion action, choose Website, enter
your shop's web addressand press Scan. - Choose + Add a conversion action manually. Goal and action optimisation: Purchase. Value: Use different values for each conversion (we send the order total). Count: Every. Press Done, then Save and continue.
- On Set up the tag, pick Install the tag yourself. You'll see the Google tag with an ID starting
AW-: copy just that ID into Google Ads tag ID here. - Further down, under Event snippet, find
send_to: 'AW-…/…'. Copy the whole snippet (or just the part after the slash) into Purchase conversion label here. We pick out the label. - Press Save here, then back in Google Ads press Done. The status changes from "Unverified" to "Recording conversions" after your next online sale.
